
Tarun Kumar Yerra, from Portland, Oregon, is a technology and data-driven professional with a master's degree in computer science and engineering from Portland State University. He currently works as a Programmer Analyst II at Marion County, Oregon. Tarun's career spans three years in software development, data science, and analytics, where he has developed strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Beyond his coding expertise, Tarun boasts a profound understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile software development processes. Beyond his technical roles, Tarun has impacted students as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Robotics & Coding Instructor. He also engages in extracurriculars, serving as Treasurer for the Indian Student Association at Portland State University and a board member of SSWC.
Tarun enjoys beekeeping, exploring new places, and cooking South Indian dishes. He has a close-knit family in India, including his parents and a younger sibling pursuing a master's in computer science, as well as a pet Labrador named Kenzu.
